Thank God
Church is Over

A thought provoking, emotional roller-coaster, Thank God Church Is Over provides insight into both the wonderful highs and harrowing lows of a dad reflecting on his boys as they grow and mature. Funny and silly as boys can be, lighthearted stories surround life changing events which haunt the family even today. While unique to the author, parents will reminisce about their own triumphs and tragedies and plan their next family memory making. Persevere and keep moving forward.

Steve’s recounting of family experiences are highly entertaining – but far more. In coming to know the Rath’s we witness a way we can enjoy and cherish the good times and persevere in the difficult times when living under the Divine leadership. Read this book and profit from a multi-generational history of good fathering.

The book title THANK GOD CHURCH IS OVER triggers off curiosities at first sight. As I start to read the Intro, the manner of writing – concise, abrupt yet very readable, immediately captured my interest to read on, to find out what is next happening in this family of simple life folks.

THANK GOD CHURCH IS OVER is a thought-provoking look into the highs and lows that accompany fatherhood. On one hand, Mr. Rath offers insights into funny family moments that have made a lasting impression in his mind. On the other hand, he sobers the reader with accounts of tragic, life-changing situations that would tear most families apart. Faith, family, and humor are woven throughout this engaging tale. Great read for all family members!

About the Author

Steve Rath

I never considered writing until folks who heard our story suggested I write a book. At first it was laughable, but the more I thought about how important our story could be for others, I had to start.

Since “Thank God Church Is Over” are my reflections about my boys growing up, the time spent reminiscing was wonderful. The best moments were when an incident would flash into my consciousness and I knew I had to add that to the story. Not all the memories were pleasant; some were excruciatingly painful. My editor, Katherine Hunter, worked hard to draw these emotions out.

I hope folks who read “Thank God Church Is Over” will take time to savor their own memories the way one might a stunning sunset or the warmth of a crackling fire
